Hello. I'm always looking for new ways to help the less fortunate and since retirement, I've been able to indulge my passion for crafts and hobbies. I make quilts, scarves, socks and anything else you can think of to sell for charity or give away to those in need. My husband is excellent at woodwork and I've got him in on the act now! Furniture and children's toys are two of his specialties. Of course, trends change and I need to alter my craft activities to suit modern tastes. No one wants to buy crocheted toilet dolls any more, but I've learnt to make socks out of old-fashioned quilting squares because those are best sellers!
